We managed to get between the titan in front of us and the vindicators + the defending player fleet one system behind us. Both the defending fleet and the vindicators needed to risk being shot to pieces when coming out of the gate. As far as I could tell that was the tactical situation we were in when the vindicators warped in at range on us again which resulted in the gang going to ss, cursing on TS + local and a a lot of the gang logging off.
I've sent a friendly mail to Kieron asking for clarification on that matter and am awaiting a reply. I'm starting to wonder myself now what the exact distribution of people was in those last few moments because thats where the whole teleport thing hinges on, it was about 3am for me though lots of people in the gang had the same conclusion but that doesn't say much tbh. Maybe it's all got a perfectly normal explanation, maybe not. We'll see.
I guess the flaw in the plan of sniping players with vindicators was that the attacking fleet should stay in the same system and keep their primary focus on the Titan. With the Titan going ahead and the attacking fleet managing to end up between the defenders and the titan itself on the route to serp. prime the whole plan went down the drain, thats my favorite pet theory for now 
I take it, the thought of Serp ships being sent from serp prime to aid the titan, never crossed your mind, or the fact the serp fleet doesn't just have 8 - 10 vindicators.
From an RP point of view it makes sence that the seprentis would have had baby sitting squads stationed from one system to the next handing the titan over to the next squad at the gate.
Now i some how think there isn't enough people to represent the entire serp fleet, as for them always being able to warp into range.. hmmm ever wondered if they might have been using a cloaked ship to make warp in points.
A few of the vids i have seen of the attack on the titan, when the vindicators starting to appear there are a few covert ops ships with the attacking fleet, maybe someone should have put them to use, but in all the confusion of the vids.. it just seemed that people was more interested in shooting the titan then dealing with the defenders. Which well, puts it all down to bad tactics.
